Yesterday Was a Good Day...

So I had an interview with Northrop Grummon MIssion Systems yesterday morning and three hours after that, they offered me a job. Just like that! Can you believe it? So starting October 23rd (tentantively) I shall no longer be amoung the ranks of the destitute or unemployed. Ok, I was never destitute but you get the picture. Finally I'll be positive in the monthly cash flow once again. Good thing too, cause I was running a little low in the savings department. My nice little post-trip cushion was almost gone. So anyway, I should get an official offer letter tomorrow. But yup, still super stoked about getting a job. Once again a wage slave and proud!

The other thing that happened was I finally found a roomie, Vu's acquaintance Jurgen. Even though things won't be finalized until next Tuesday when he moves in, pays his money, and fills out the necessary paper work, I'm remaining cautiously optimisitic. Well with the whole job and roomie situation resolved at last, its like two huge weights removed from my shoulders. Now if I could only overcome my massive writer's block and finish Casey's statement. *sigh* Work... it's never quite done.
